Construction phase

Inspection & Maintenance

Cladding forms the protective shell of our buildings.  It is exposed to all the extremes of our climate: frozen in winter and baked in summer; battered by rain, wind, and hail; accumulating airborne dirt, debris and pollution.  Inevitably, over time, elements of a cladding system will experience stress and, in some cases, failure.  The impacts of cladding failures range widely.  Impaired aesthetics; nuisance from noise; water ingress; or, in the case of structural failure, potential danger to life.

 

Height Sure are experts in the development and deployment of comprehensive inspection schedules for any cladding system.  Inspection takes many forms, from tactile to mechanical; from destructive sampling to discreet borescope surveys.  From holistic overviews to highly targeted interrogations, we plan our processes meticulously and specifically to ensure adherence to your specification and suitability to your cladding system.

 

We understand that the end product of any inspection is a comprehensive written report.  Our inspection findings are communicated clearly and logically, with relevant images and recommendations clearly signposted.  Our aim is to deliver inspection reports in the shortest possible timeframe, to the highest degree of accuracy and clarity, in a user-friendly format.

Maintenance

The best form of maintenance is early maintenance.  When properly informed by thorough inspection and reporting, a proactive maintenance schedule will deliver timely interventions aimed at preventing an emergent defect from becoming an emergency callout.

 

Height Sures' maintenance teams are experienced in a wide array of cladding remedials, and will endeavour to undertake multiple smaller tasks in one visit, representing true value to our clients.  These small ‘stitches in time’ are the best protection against costly outlays for repairs and replacements in the future.

When the time comes for wholesale replacement of cladding systems or elements, Height Sure are ready to assist you with the planning and implementation of the hard-to-reach aspects of your refurbishment project.  Whether your façade requires panel replacement, structural rebuild, or simply an aesthetic facelift, we aim to undertake all works with sensitivity to building occupants and minimal impact on day-to-day activities.
