SAFETY NETTING FOR FALL ARREST

Officially considered to be “the preferred method of fall arrest when working at height”, safety nets are usually deployed in construction or refurbishment environments.  They are designed to prevent a fall to the ground, and to dissipate the energy of a fall to prevent injury.

As a “Collective Measure” a safety net can protect multiple people without the need for Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE).  This allows a higher freedom of movement within a work area.  With the addition of a fine mesh net, Fall Arrest Netting can also be used to catch falling tools and building materials.

Height Sure supply and install safety nets to BS EN 1263-1/2014 standards.  We aim to provide a rapid turnaround from specification to installation, with many netting units being available “off the hook” and ready to install.  For more specialist work environments our safety nets can be manufactured to bespoke dimensions and can incorporate specialist materials to ensure adaptability to almost any location.
